Tearing your face away from the image of the man, you feel instantaneously relieved. You no longer regret what you did to him and his family back on the road. His rage was nothing that could ever be controlled, the pool was obviously full of evil that would surely have consumed you on behalf of the man's fury.
Out of the corner of your eye, you see a ripple in the middle of the pool, and freeze, startled. Suddenly, something pushes from the back of your head and plunges you into the pool. Once inside, your whole body begins to burn with an indescribable pain, your mind latched onto the man's two brown eyes. You attempt to fight your way back to the surface, but you feel the impurities of your heart bearing you down. This is Nature's retaliation against the sins you have committed against it, you sense. As you quickly slip out of consciousness and into the endless sleep of asphyxiation, your mind flashes forth image after image of your sins, not relenting the punishment, even for your very last moment on the earth. Such is the passing of a wasted life.
