You make your way up to the pool - who are you to refude the calling of Nature? When you reach the pool you realize that it is clearest water you have ever seen, yet for some reason you can see no bottom to the pool. The water seems to fade into an inviting icy blueness, its unblemished surface almost begging to be touched. As you change your vantage point, however, the pool becomes an almost perfect mirror, casting a reflection of the trees around it in a wonderful trick of nature. You can almost make out the veins on the leaves of the tallest trees in the reflection, details that you definitely could not discern with simply your mundane eye.
After staring down into the pool to see the tops of the trees behind it, you figure that you might as well see what your reflection reveals in the pool. The mist swirls around your hands as you get down on all fours to get closer to the surface.
